When we activated the new website in mid-2023 (oh, ever so long ago), one of the changes we made was to add two new fields to the user registration form, specifically, "Last Name" and "Member Number." You can see them if you look down a few lines after you log in, under the heading of "Fields." If you were already a member when we did that (and you haven't filled them in yet), those fields are probably blank.

Until now, we haven't made an issue of that. But when renewal time rolls around in April of 2025, we will start using those fields to verify your membership, and we will need you to fill them in before then. If you don't have your membership card handy, don't panic; you can find your member number by logging on to the National site at https://www.us.mensa.org/ , then pull up your Membership Profile under the 'My Mensa' menu, and your number will be just below your name near the top of the page. But please take care of this before April; if we find it necessary to suspend your login privileges, you will need to provide your last name and member number to us before we re-enable you.

"But how do I change it?" I hear you asking. It's pretty simple: Click the "Edit Profile" button, make your changes, and click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. we need to add 'If you have any problems, email me at webmaster@nothtexasmensa.org'.
